  • Newbie & looking for an induction buddy

    Hey everyone!
After trying several diets and losing some weight...I decided enough was enough and that yeah dieting is nice to lose weight...but it is not a way of life...hence me starting the whole atkins approach to eating. I'm on day 3 of induction and have read the book and registered for fitday.com.
Hmm...a little about me: well, I'm 19 years old and just finished my sophomore year of college and will be transferring to a new school in the fall. In other words there is a lot of extra motivation for me to lose those last extra few pounds before I start school again.
As my name suggests I love the outdoors whether it's backpacking, hiking, kayaking, scuba, basketball, tennis...anything outdoors...and am looking for this additional weight loss to help get me running up those mountains one day *cough cough* well I can dream can't I?? hehe
Anyways, I am looking for an induction buddy--someone who would like to be a kind of support system for one another.
Enjoying this way of life so far and look forward to getting to know the rest of u on this board!!

        Welcome to the board!

If you do that many activities the weight should come off relatively easy for you. Exercise is a key component of this WOL.

        Good luck!
