I'm so glad to see this forum. I started Atkins on 10/29 and weighed 192. I am currently 180, an average of 2lbs/week loss.
My babies are 6mos and 20mos and I thought that I would never be able to lose weight again... my heaviest was 240 right before delivering my baby. I really thought that I totally screwed up my metabolism but apparently not because I have lost 60lbs since delivering.
I've tried the WW diet and I was constantly hungry... CONSTANTLY. I'm so glad this WOE exists it is the absolute ONLY diet that works for me... I am constantly satisfied (not hungry) and the weight eventually falls off.
To tell you the truth, I haven't gotten into an exercise routine, I'm afraid that my level of hunger will increase and I'll want to eat more.... I'm one of the Atkineers that have to watch caloric intake or they won't lose and even gain.
