Re: Creeping Up The Rungs
My arms and legs have always been muscular, even when I've been at my heaviest. It's just been my mid-section that has always been my nemesis. My mothers side of the family has always been heavy so growing up being chubby no one really said much but by the time I became a teenager my mother started harping (and has never shut up). I use to take every word she said to heart - now I just let her ramble and try not to let her get to me like before.
It has rained all day so I did 2 loads of laundry and rode 15 miles on the bike. I watched the 1st episode of Moonlighting while I was on the bike -- a couple years ago the hubs got me dvd's of the whole series and I've never watched them so today the day. It was nice to have something to keep my mind off the biking and it really helps the time go quickly.
Tomorrow they are going to deliver our new stove -- I can't wait!!! Wednesday the gas company will be here to replace the gas line (we needed a larger line because of the gas dryer and the stove) and install the stove. Wednesday night we are going to have something special for dinner!!! I don't know what it will be yet, but it will be more than warming up soup...LOL!!!
Speaking of dinner....we are having ham & eggs and pancakes tonight...that's a good cold rainy night meal! I made Atkins friendly pancakes for breakfast - they make 2 servings and mom said she wanted pancakes for dinner....so I'll have the rest of mine also - the recipe make 6 good size pancakes and I have sugar free maple syrup -- I'll have to melt a little butter in the syrup to make it taste a little better. I also have sugar free vanilly syrup but I think the maple would be better with pancakes.
Ok enough....
