so day 4?
i think its been day four. and i have been having issues in the past about my water weight so im no relying on the scale for progress. i think its day four been pretty great about it actually. ran 5k today and sat in the sauna been very careful about my carbs and water ive been a good kid. although i had maybe two alcoholic shots and still my ketostix read large amounts of ketones which is fabulous. been drinking my water and snacks and stuff. this time is very different i can finally say it is different rather than i think it will be different. so im hoping that i can start seeing this weight drop im kind of having a hard time with the scale like i said but i still have about a week and a half on induction but i want to do extended induction. **peace**Tags: None

Regarding Extended Induction:
If you are not doing so now, please use a site like FitDay - Free Weight Loss and Diet Journal to track your food. In particular, pay attention to your nutrient values. Vitamin supplements can shore up some deficiencies, but the best and easiest way to give your body nutrients is through the food you eat.
So what does this have to do with Extended Induction? Simple: If you move from Induction to OWL 1, all you will be adding are more Induction-List vegetables...in other words, more nutrients. Those Induction-List Veggies you've been eating didn't contribute to your prior weight gain, and they won't impede your weight loss if you add another 5g net of them.
If you have an extremely low CCLL, that's one thing; even then, you won't know what your CCLL is until you start increasing your net carbs. But too often, a person will choose Extended Induction, find that the weight loss slows significantly (or stalls), get discouraged and will quit out of frustration.
(wagging finger) Don't let that be you! Think carefully about whether you wish to remain at Induction after your two weeks are up.
