my water weight is fluctuating because of my change in birth control. but, im going really well. even with cheating i was able to get right back into ketosis because of how physical my job is. and i've been drinking a ton of water. probably on average 80-100 oz of water/ day.
i checked my sticks and it says im in it. and my cheeks feel really warm and breath is odd smelling. people always ask "why are you so flushed?" and i just say oh i've been running ha ha ha. last night and tonight i have to walk 1/4 of a mile to a certain part of the hospital and when i walk back thats another 1/4 of a mile. last night i did this 8 times. thats 2 miles~! then tonight i have this area again so thats at least one mile for sure. maybe a mile and a half. i got a pedometer on so im going to be checking it often. im so close to being under 200. i hope i can do it before the end of the month. that would be amazing to me. a huge breakthrough. i always lied about being 190 when i was 240, but i cant recall being 190 ever. maybe in middle school which is really big for a 13 year old!
pants are starting to fit well. i just keep checking on them. scrubs especially. i hope by next month i can be a size 14. that would be amazing. if i can get to like 198 by end of month, then like 188 by end of feb. then 178 by end of march i will be ok with that. so that means if i have a weight loss like this, i will be at my goal weight in may. i will probably actually be at a size 10 is what i'd like but i'd love a size 8. just to say im not in double digits.
i am getting some running shoes with my tax return. i want two pair. one for work and another for running- duh lol
as soon as i get those shoes i am going to be a running macheine. im going to be running and training for my marathon.
things are going great as far as the dieting goes. eating lots of veggies and getting good amount of protien and fats.
im proud of myself.
im doing exceptionally well. even cheating but like i said im still in ketosis. thank goodness. i got into ketosis a lot faster than a lot of people.
in december i weighed around 210 with water weight and i got down to 200. then around my period it jumped back up to 210 again. now im almost 200 because i think this water weight is trying to tackle me. im up to 203 but i was not fasting. so im taking it as food weight LOL LMAO. if i lost this weight it would put me about losing 10 pounds on induction. and if i do exdended induction i wonder how much more id lose

The best determining factor as to whether you should move to OWL is whether you are getting adequate nutrients from the food you eat in Induction. Log your food into FitDay and take a look at the nutrient graphs. If you are not getting at least 70% of the RDA for all nutrients (excluding Vitamin D) from your daily food intake, then you really could benefit from moving to OWL 1 immediately and adding more vegetables. Even if you take nutritional supplements, the best way to get the vitamins and minerals needed for most efficient fat burning is from food.
Too many times, I have seen someone go the Extended Induction route and stall, because they don't pack all the nutrients they need into 20g net carb per day. And poor nutrient intake WILL throw a monkey wrench into your fat-burning machine. (wags finger) Don't let that be you!
