I have not blogged in a few days. So here is just a little something…Well first in exactly one hour it will be my birthday, and I will officially be closer to 30 than 20, lol. Some friends and family will be taking me out to Lone Star Steak House for dinner tomorrow. I’m so excited about going out because most of these people haven’t seen me since I started to lose weight. Now I know that because I’m so over weight I need to lose like 40-50 pounds before it is noticeable, but I’m hoping ONE of them at least notices. I haven’t noticed a thing yet, but well see.

Okay, so what I eat….I guess we’ll just go by meal if that is okay.

A typical breakfast for me is

1-2 eggs, either fried in butter or hard-boiled, depending if I’m running late or not
2-3 slices of bacon (2 if it is thick bacon, yumm – three if it is normal bacon)

OR

3 egg omelet with 1 ounce cheese, sautéed white mushrooms (about 2.5 ounces which translates into 2.3 Carbs and only 1.6 net carbs) and sautéed scallions (1 ounce which translates into 2.1 Total Carbs and only 1.3 net carbs). I eat the omelet with again 2-3 slices of bacon depending….

That’s about it for my breakfasts so far. I haven’t really had to be too creative yet with it, lol. Any suggestions on other quick breakfast ideas that would be great =)
