Workout Routine: Walked on treadmill for 1 mile, 10 pushups, 20 squats
What did I eat today?
Breakfast: 2 scrambled eggs mixed with 1 oz cheddar cheese and 2 pieces of bacon
Lunch: Leftover grilled shrimp, celery, peppers with cream cheese
Snack: 1 cucumber with salt and pepper
Dinner: Ground beef with cauliflower mashed potatoes
Water intake for the day: 100oz
Supplements: 2 chlorophyll and fiber pills
Observations: Realized I needed to switch up what I'm eating because I am getting sick of eating the same foods. I've read through the forums that seems to be the number one problem people have with this diet (way of life)...they don't vary what they eat and start going back to their old habits. I don't want to fall into that rut and end up sabotaging all my efforts. So, I went grocery shopping this afternoon and bought a bunch of different veggies. Jicima, cauliflower, broccoli, cabbage, spaghetti squash, brussel sprouts, and spinach. I also spent several hours on the bulletin board today looking for some different recipes. Another realization I made today is that I need to work more on my exercise routines. I started doing my push-ups, joined the squat challenge. Most importantly I need to stop sitting on the couch a lot less. It's amazing how easy it is for me to come up with excuses not to do the right thing...they are not excuses, it's just laziness. Yes, I've been lazy and that's that.
Drinking my water has been a lot easier. Especially since I started using a 32oz water bottle. All I have focus on is drinking 3 bottles and one 6oz glass of water in the am with my supplements.
Supplement addition: I've noticed a lot of people taking Milk Thistle on the bulletin board to improve their liver function. In addition I'm going to start adding a Calcium and Magnesium pill too.
