
I have done atkins and south beach a long time ago but did not have much support and fell off of the band wagon.
I started South Beach induction the week after Christmas. I lost 4 pounds, and was fustrated by trying to find low carb/low fat items. I decided since I don't have any cardiac or other health problems (other than obesity) that I would go back to Atkins. So this week is my first week of ANA Induction. Unfortunately, this also coincides with a visit to my mother's. My sister is visiting and we wanted to get the cousins together for a bit of fun. I am getting a lot of eye rolling for my "high fat" diet. My mother also weighs well over 200# but my sister is a skinny 130#.
My total carb intake is 20-23 carbs this week. I am satisfied with that due to not being able to fully control my diet.
