After-action report from anniversary dinner:
The pork was lovely. The cod was luscious. The celery root-potato mash was so rich, we ended up sharing a single portion. The green beans were just the way Mr. Shrew likes 'em - overcooked. The brownies were highly disappointing and warranted a journal entry. The ice cream was nice - not very sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. We'll see how the dessert impacts my weight over the next few days, but so far, nothing outside of my typical day-to-day fluctuation is apparent.
