OK, so as I sit here, it is 9am local time on Monday morning. Officially, I started Induction yesterday. I followed all the dietary rules, and went to bed last night having consumed only 16g of carbs all day. I however, am not considering that the first day. To me, this is the first day. You see, on my last night as a carboholic I went a little crazy. I got hammered drunk on Scotch and ate and drank alot of stuff I knew better than to consume. Yesterday morning I woke to a feeling of death, and a gut full of garbage. I was way too under the weather to exercise. I did buy a couple exercise machines from a friend, but other than that I did nothing but lay around the house following the diet and drinking copious amounts of water while trying to enjoy some football games and audiobooks.

Today is already different.
I woke up at 4am and did some warm up exercises. I then went for a nice brisk walk around the neighborhood while listening to a podiobook(Scott Sigler's "Infected" in cast you were wondering). I was doing that for a little over an hour. I then came home and made an amazing 3egg omelet with 2 strips of bacon and 1 slice of american cheese. topped it off with 1 tbsp of mayo, and had a nice big breakfast at a whopping 5g of carbs. I have a few podcasts to download and listen to this morning, which will give me the perfect chance to try out the new exercise machines. for lunch, ill probably have a salad with cucumber and italian dressing or oil and veneger, along with a baked fish filet. haven't decided yet whether ill use cod or talapia. For dindin, im thinking a couple pork chops with broccoli normandy and maybe some cauliflower mashed potatoes. We'll have to see how the carb count works out. Im trying to stay closer to 15 than 20. Not sure why.

I've been reading the low carb recipes on this site and others, and I must say, there are some really amazing sounding foods that you can make with very little carbs. I can't wait to try the cauliflower hash browns.

What else...

While I was piddling around yesterday listening to podiobooks and waiting for football to start, I managed to completely rearrange my bedroom into my own personal mecca of weight loss. I cleared out a large area in the middle in front of the tv where I can place the two machines to workout. I'll probably spend more time listening to my headphones while exercising than watching tv, but you never know what interesting thing might show up on discovery or the history channel. It will feel good to be able to burn calories while I watch TV. Usually if Im watching tv or a movie, im just sitting there. Often times with a glass of Scotch. Well, now ill be sitting on an "aeROBIC Rider" with a bottle of water. Baby steps I suppose.

Scratch the dinner i stated previously. I completely forgot about the recipe I found yesterday on this site for "Heroin Wings". gonna give that a shot. sounds awesome.

hmm...

got on the scale this morning and found that I was right back at the point I was at on Saturday, before I started. That night of debauchery really set me back. I weighed in last night and had gotten up to 322. Im sure some of that was the massive water intake. This morning I was back down to 318 before I went on my walk. I'll weigh in again tonight before bed and see what's what.

I'm about to start taking pictures of myself to keep visual track of my progress. I'm debating whether or not to share them though. I know everyone here is very supportive, but I go to great lengths to make sure no one has to look at my gut and stretch marks. I'm very self aware and to be completely honest, ashamed and embarrassed by what I see when I get out of the shower(talking about my body, not my penis). If I were going to share this most intimate part of my life with anyone, this would be the proper place to do it, but i'm just not sure.

I think i'll go take some pictures of certain diet related things in my new lifestyle. Look out for my new Album....it's gonna drop later on this afternoon.

If anyone got that, please let me know.
My sense of humor is not for everyone, but it makes me smile.
