Sorry for two blogs in 1 day, but I need to vent my happiness before I blow a gasket.
After posting this morning, I went for my walk. People were heading for work and looking at me like I was an idiot. Screw them.
By the time I was done, my calves were burning. I love that burn.
I cooled off for about a half hour and waited for the sun to come up. Then, I trimmed the hedges around the house, edged the front drive and walk, mowed and bagged the front yard, and blew off all the concrete. It was enough work to keep me actively sweating until about 9:30. I cooled off again and came in for a shower. Afterwards I cooked a late breakfast. 3 scrambled eggs with 2 slices of bacon. Been on this damn computer ever since.
Finally almost done with work on the computer. Going to make a light lunch. 2 cups of bagged iceberg lettuce mix w- cabbage and radish. Gonna add half a cucumber and maybe 5 olives and 2oz of colby-jack. Mmmm...mouthwatering.
This afternoon appears to be full of aerobic machines in my bedroom while listening to podcasts and/or audiobooks.
Wow, just had the pleasure of talking with a city inspector. He was trying to get info about the house across the street from me, which is run-down and unkept. Hopefully, the city will finally take the property over and level the lot.
Thats a story for another day though.
I have some cod fillets thawing in the fridge, but don't know what to do with them. I've never ate fish any way other than breaded and deep fried. Guess I need to talk to my friend google.
I noticed that after my yardwork this morning, my urine was considerably darker than usual, due to my lack of H2O intake during the work. I ran a test strip through the dark stream and it came up as "moderate". I can't help but assume that this is just because the waste in the urine was at a much more concentrated level than it would normally be. This made me wonder how much of an effect our water intake has on the result of that test. If I consume over 100oz of water in a day, and my urine is the color of water, will that cause a false negative on the test strip? The only way I can think of to test this is to wait until I am positive that I'm in Ketosis, then drink enough water to make the urine clear and test it. if it still shows that im in ketosis, i'm in the clear. If anyone else has already done a test like this, please share your results.
Well, time for that salad, then to clean house, then to my lair.
Sorry for the rant, and if you made it all the way through, you're amazing.
Ta Ta For Now.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by my blog, I thought I had better check yours out also.
Your doing great and making all the right steps from what I can see.
In my first week I think I had a headache from **** on day 2, felt groggy on day 3 and was feeling better on day 4... on day 5 I was feeling on top of the world!
With my ketostrips, I was in mild pink ketosis in day 3 or 4.. Any sign of the strip changing colour means your in ketosis, so go do a victory dance, the fat is now burning.
From my observations on here over the last couple of months, I have noticed that heavier guys like you and me loose quicker than people closer to their goal.. So for once there is a motivational gain to being big! It means in your first week you are going to loose more than anyone you have ever known has lost in a week... it rocks!
With ketosis, I find hydration does not effect me too much.. BUT, working out or doing work that burns energy does make it darker shades of ketosis.. for example, I spend most of my time in the second or third shade of pink on the chart, but if I test right after the gym its almost one from the end of the colour chart!
Anyway, keep it up and keep on here!
