OK, so I went to Wallyworld last night and stumbled across the Atkins shakes and bars.
How did I make it this far into this diet without discovering these wonderful little things. Actually, I have seen them on the Atkins site, but for some odd reason they never garnered my attention. I looked at them last night and to my surprise, only 1 net gram of carbs to a shake. Can you believe that!? They are a little pricey at around $6 US for a 4 pack, but if that's the price of not faltering due to a sweet tooth, I'll pay it. I bought 3 packs. 1 milk chocolate, 1 dark chocolate, and 1 strawberry. Had a strawberry last night and it was amazingly good for 1 carb. They are the perfect snack. Especially for that late night sweet tooth.

The bars are a different story, slightly. A box of 5 is around 4 bucks, and there were around 6 or 7 different flavors. They aren't all labeled safe for induction, so you need to read the back of the box. I'm not sure how they figured the net carbs, because when I do the math I come up with a bit more than the advertised 3g per bar. The only box I bought was the marshmallow mudslide flavor. Again, perfect for a sweettooth. I think I'll reserve these for extreme cases of sweet craving, but the shakes will make it into my semi-regular rotation.

Again, I must stress the importance of reading the box on the bars.

I hope this gives a source of something atkins friendly to help avoid faltering when that sweet tooth starts to ache. I KNOW this is going to help me allot.
Hope all is well for everyone.
