The kids were way better following a new seating chart and a good talking to. Guess I'll have to exchange these new rolls of duct tape for something chic and sparkly.
Menus were a little better today. I discovered a low-carb breakfast drink and zero carb flavour packets for my water. I added some zip to my usual spinach and tuna salad with some bacon bits and salad olives. I cooked up ground beef and mixed in leftover sauce from a roast earlier this week. I'd like to find a nice low-carb thickener as it would have made for awesome gravy. Will look into that.
Still not exercising. My gym membership card looks fabulous on my keychain, though. pfffffffffft

Glad the kids were better today. I'll give you credit for being a teacher...they don't pay you guys enough for all that you put up with. I'd probably be in jail if I was one.
Have a good night. Michelle
What grade do you teach?
There are worse things then cheese to eat... so give yourself a little credit. Stay positive, get some rest and you will do fine. Think low carb.
I took two years of French in High School.
I chose that over Spanish, which looking back wasn't the best choice considering all the Mexicans I live around and work around in construction. lol.
I was a bit of a slacker though, so I didn't retain much anyway.
I do remember how to count to 40 or 50 though.
French is a beautiful language. Every word sounds like sex to me. Not sure why.
Anyway, cauliflower works good as a thickener. Just boil it until completely soft, then add it to a blender or food processor with a small amount of gravy and blend until smooth. add that back to the gravy. repeat until desired consistency. This will probably require an adjustment of spices.
Cauliflower is amazing. Truly the veggie with a million uses.
