The good news is a whoosh is tagging along behind Tom somewhere. Perimenopause sucks, but I know the light at the end of the tunnel isn't another train.
Second and final day of conferences, and I walked through the lounge after signing in to find an army of doughnuts on the table. I reminded myself of the absolutely positive chance of sugar crash about 15 mins after eating just one, plus overwhelming cravings, plus reflux pain... not to mention I'm wearing those jeans I'm finally able to zip up without cutting off circulation to my torso. I'll take a big pass on the doughnuts.
Met all my appointments last night, so looks like an easy morning. I put this together from the minifridge for breakfast:
2 small carb balance plus whole wheat tortillas
1 small can potted meat
1 string cheese
2 tsp mayo
I need to find a lower sodium replacement for the potted meat. I bought it when I went back to lowcarb because of the size and convenience... realized after logging it to FitDay it about wiped out the sodium for the day. Sheesh! The lowcarb tortillas aren't much better. Anyhow... water, water, water.

Will have spinach salad for lunch. Tonight we're having a departmental get-together at our place... we're providing the meat and one colleague is bringing a salad. I didn't specify what kind of salad to bring, so hoping it's green and legal. If not, the dinner's at my house... I can manage.
Getting used to saying NO to what ails me.

Just a recommendation: Be careful about the tortillas, if you are still in induction or extended we shouldn't be eating them. Try lettuce leaves...they work great as a substitution.
Yes, I need to drink more water too! Not meeting my goals of 100oz a day lately, but it does make a big difference.
Hope your get-together went well!
