I decided to check to see if the digital scale would work before throwing it away. Surprisingly it did... big red numbers flashed 244.5. I'm so happy... half-way to reaching my next mini-goal of getting under 240.

I must admit that my vegetable consumption lately has been spotty. And I went on a pork rinds kick this past week that wasn't the best thing for my sodium levels. And I've been drinking more coffee than usual lately with the temperatures dropping. This WOE works in spite of me. I haven't been craving, haven't been tempted by the never-ending parade of sweets and treats that flow through the teachers' lounge. I've come to think of that place as sheer evil incarnate between the horrible "choices" of food available and the gossip... just not the place for me to be.

Anyhow, so I'm pleased to knock another pound off my signature and stats. Oh yeah.
