I'm over the moon that my blood work came back so good!

My cholesterol was down to 4.16 from 5.36 last year, and according to my chart it's the lowest it's been since as far back as 2003. That's as far back as it went on that chart actually.

My blood sugar and blood pressure were both excellent, and I have at least 1000 things to be thankful for.

I finally made it to the gym to start my new membership. Having a home gym is great, and I have enough equipment that it should keep me in top form, but nothing beats getting out and using those fancy machines!

The whole point this time was that I wanted to use the stair climber for my personal "Climb a mountain in every province" challenge. The gym I had originally chosen didn't have a stair climber, so I went with the next closest one. It's a whopping 7 minutes away. It's only about $15 a month more and has WAY more stuff. Plus the group classes are included with the membership fees. No pool, but I can live with that.

This is the very first time that I worked out on the same day I got a membership. It was my first time going into the place and that's usually more than enough to scare me away for a bit. Not this time. I went back after work and did the Stair Master AND some weight machines.

Yeah me!
