      1 med egg
      3 tbsp of Pure Pumpkin
      2 packets of splenda
1 tsp of Pumpkin Pie spice
      Sprinkle of cinnamon on top.

Mix all together and cook in microwave for 4 - 5 minutes. Let cool

I had made this over the weekend and had half the bowl left. So today I used a fork and pulled it out of the bowl, layed it in my oven directly on the rack and baked it till it became warm, probably about 7 minutes at 375. Then I took it out and took one tbsp of cream cheese and 1 packet of splenda and heated that up for about 15 seconds. Then I mixed that up and spread it ontop of the pumpkin (bread) and it was awesome. I have found my new favorite dessert.

Just thought I would share this with you all.

Thank you jsj0305. Rotties are awesome. Although mine wasn't along the best of blood lines. He had 4 ACL repaired in one year. Both back legs, and then he tore the meniscous (sp?) and then had to have them redone. Poor doggy!! It just wasn't his time I guess, although my bank account would greatly disagree. But who cares about that when you love them!!

I'm not sure what 1 packet of splenda equals as far as measurement. I looked on the box and it says the Net WT is 1.75 oz if that helps.

Aw poor pup! Mine didn't either, we actually searched for a breeder for a LONG time, drove all the way to Jersey to find this guy ina townhouse with about 15 dogs in the back, it was aweful. The pups were already seperated from their mom at 6 weeks and they were in a cardboard box covered in pop. This one little furball just staired up at us and he was the biggest honey. Needless to say, our Marley is now 6 months old, laying at my feet right now. Every dog needs a home, and we really think we saved him by taking him. LOL So I completely understand. =]

Anyhow, LOL. I just saw the threads you put up in another thread, so thank you so much! I can't wait to try this out tonight! You rally shoudl post it by itself in the recipe forum so more people could see it!!

One packet of Splenda is equal to 2 teaspoons of the granular in the bag.
People who say it can't be done, should not interrupt those doing it.

Be vedy, vedy careful! First, I didn't like pumpkin at all, then I liked it a little--next thing I know I'm addicted and having a melt down in Aisle 7 of Wal-Mart because they were out of pumpkin!

Sunny - LOL!!!!!!!!! Do you happen to have a recipe for whipped pumpkin? I'm looking for something close to butternut squash puree or sweet potato puree.

Not really, but the Libby canned pumpkin is a very smooth puree straight out of the can. When I add some butter, salt, pepper and a packet of Splenda and nuke it, it tastes just like mashed sweet potato to me.

                        Hi,

I made the pumpkin bread. It was so good! I used liquid splenda (no carbs) and this is the count I got for the recipe:

3 net carbs for the whole thing is awesome! If you use granular splenda, add the carbs in.

YUMMY! I made a double recipee of this and added extra spices. I put it in a bowl and my kids and hubby and I shared it while we played a game of sorry. Thankgoodness they were there or I would have eaten the entire bowl! That is so good! I cooked mine for 1 1/2 minutes in the microwave and stirred it up and topped it with a bit of whipped heavy cream sans splenda. I'm going to the store this weekend to buy up a bunch canned pumpkin on sale so I can make this more often and also have with just butter salt and pepper. thanks for the great recipee!

hi i am from the uk and have looked all over. i have a couple of questions. A: can you buy canned pumpkin in the uk? and B: What is pumpkin spice. oh and C: how do i cook a fresh pumpkin to get it to look like pumpkin is in a can, is there a way i have to cook it and prepare it? I'm not a cook and since i started the atkins diet. ive been experimenting on different things.
