Well today was the last day of my ovens life ..it just this very moment burst into flames and stopped working......I have a dream that I can afford a double oven one as a convection ....however I am torn...money is an issue now.....and we do have gas.....how about you guys give me some ideas...I was all set to purchase my perfect oven but it is 3 grand so never mind I will save it for the downstairs kitchen ....I need a practical ....precise....oven ...a double wall oven would be nice and a convection would be nicer for one of them....any ideas on brands, styles ...should I stick with gas or go for electric (I loved my mothers electric oven with the convection top).....help?????.....my house is smokey now.....yuk...

I can't comment on brands Nursey coz i think they are different in different countries. But I like the fan-forced ovens which really heat up quicker and seem "hotter". They also brown meat better but you have to watch if you you use baking paper - mine's caught fire a few times LOL I have ceramic cooktops which are great because it doubles up as extra table space.30yo F 5'5 (166cm)
