      I had a really great recipe for miso, but I don't know how good it is for Atkins. It was a japanese breakfast miso, made with daikon radish, onions, buttercup squash, (I can't remember what else off the top of my head) but dang it was good. I could have eaten the whole pot by myself.

        That's the link for the recipe. Buttercup squash is like 17 grams of carbs per 1 cup serving. That's too high for me. :sadblinky

        But dang is it tasty!

        I took a cooking class from this woman. Too bad there's no such thing as macrobiotic Atkins. Yummy food!

          Well, it says you can substitute the following for the squash

          Substitute carrots, rutabaga, parsnips, cabbage or butternut squash for buttercup squash.
