  • Any cookbooks for very low carb rubs and marinates?

I marinated some steak tips and chicken breast in wishbone dressing before but I am afraid I am eating too many carbs with letting it all set in the steak for so long (usually 24 hours) so I am wondering if this is ok for induction and if anyone knows of places to find induction freindly rubs and marinades.

I do not want anything that even has the slightest chance of stalling me and many of the low carb books are too high in carbs for me and all of the 'low carb' things sold are usually too high in carbs also.

I will probably stick to induction for another 6 months or so and I just figured I would see if there is any way to spice it up some

I already make hot wings which are awesome if you are on induction and looking for something, I use 50% hot sauce and 50% butter but they suggest 33% butter and 66% hot sauce I just don't like it that hot

You can use italian dressing for a marinade, just check the carb count, some have less than others, there is a Carb Options Italian that is made with splenda that you could use. I don't know of a book that has just recipes for marinades and rubs. Why not experiment a little til you find something that you really like.

See my "wonderful cookbook" post. Low-carb Gourmet has a number of marinated meat recipes which will give you ideas for others. Any marinade you make, though, out of olive oil, vinegar or lemon juice, salt, pepper, maybe a little garlic and the herbs of your choice will add few if any carbs to your finished product, and it will be vastly superior to bottled dressing.
