...but they grow the finest blueberries I've eaten in a long time!

QFC was selling 2.5lb flats of BC blueberries for like $3 ($232cdn) and they are awesome! Huge, plump, firm, and not too tart.

I'm thinking of freezing some but I'm not sure how.

Candiens are from Quebec (they speak French), Canadians are from BC (we do not speak French)! And what exactly are people saying about us?

I agree, we grow some of the best berries in this province! Anything that says, "OK" or "Okanagan" are the ones to look for.

Blueberries freeze as they are. We just wash them well, dry them off & put them in Ziploc bags. When you want some, just thaw under running water!

Even though our dollar is a little low compared to US, I'm pretty sure I've never paid $232 for blueberries!

It's aboot time we got some recognition eh?

Right now 2 stores have them on sale here for 1.77 so i bought 3 pints and will probably freeze most. Though i find they're a little mushier after being frozen, but cook well in flax muffins and make a great sauce for flax pancakes.

...I think last time i visted the u.s our dollar was so bad $232 cdn did convert to $3 us ...

When you freeze them you should wash them first, dry them well then spread them out on a cookie sheet and put them in the freezer. After about 20 minutes put them into freezer bags and and return them to the freezer, this keeps them from sticking together.

They're all pretty strange: Io, Callisto, Europa. None are as fruity as Iapetus!
My first job at Microsoft we used the moon names of Saturn as code names for projects.
