These were really good. The second time I made them, I added one extra tablespoon of Splenda and one egg and made cheesecake (lined cupcake pan with eight paper liners). Each cake had two carbs and three of us agreed that the were good!

    Thank you for this idea!!

Will they melt after you take them out of the freezer? I want to make these for christmas but i am wondering how long they will last out of the freezer and in a bowl?

          Re: Clouds

They don't melt, but they will get soft and loose their shape.

Just a big warning to everyone who attempts this recipe:

Clouds are addictive for many people. In the past, we have had ADBBers who have fallen and never come back due to this recipe. Eventhough this recipe is contain legal Atkins ingredients, it might not be a wise food choice for those of us with sugary carb addictions.

So beware. If you make this recipe and find you can't stop eating them. Get rid of them and don't let this recipe be your downfall.

              Re: Clouds

I've made these now a couple times. Usually get about 20 clouds out of one recipe. I ran out of vanilla, so used cherry extract with 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder. Have also made them with peppermint oil/extract and the cocoa powder.

Oh yes, and definitely use UNSALTED butter. I know that was said somewhere in this thread, but I thought I would restate. Salted butter ruins the taste.
