    you mean the liquid sweetner??

I don't have any right now...but I can tell you it is in a clear bottle with a ornage label..and I think it says something diet living, or diet sweet ...but sorry it has been a long time since I used it...

    it is a aspertame/splenda mix

Liquid splenda (or regular splenda) + chocolate = YMMV

Chocolate and splenda can get very bitter for many people. Splenda works fine as long as you use it in combination with another sweetener such as a sugar alcohol (erythritol is good) or stevia.

Could you use regular splenda? The bulk kind? If so how much would you use? And how much is a third of a stick of butter? Thanks!

These really sound yummy and I'm saving the receipe for later (when I can have the PB/nuts).

              Anyone else try these?

                Re: chocolate/peanut butter cookies

tried winging some of these tonight, not bad sure my measurements were a bit off as I just grabbed a hunk of cream cheese & a hunk of butter & said yeah, looks about right heh.

my peanut butter is a bit off & made the whole mess a bit funky with the oil seperating out

No liquid sweetner around so I used a couple Tbs of choc flavored divinci's & a couple packets of splenda...

Next time going to try it w/o the peanut butter & with Mint syrup

What came to my mind after tasting it was it's be pretty good for a cheesecake topper! or maybe mix it into some pecan meal & use carmel syrup & use it as a crust ooo...

                anywho great recipie!

I know this sounds gross, and I swore I'd never try it, but take a light cheese (ricotta, cream, marscopone) and mix a little unsweetened cocoa powder and splenda in. Its great because you get your chocolate fix, but after about 2 bites, you don't really want anymore. I did the same if I was having a snack/chocolate attack on induction. Something about cheese just makes you not really want anything else..after just a few cubes. Just watch the cheese and splenda intake.

The reason your pbutter is separated is it should be refridgeated after opening/stirring. when you first open natural p butter, stir it VERY well then keep in the refrigerator. makes it a bit harder to spread, but i will keep it from separating.

Its the fat content kisses, that makes you feel satisfied! I'm the same way with cheese, if I think I'm hungry but know I probably shouldn't be I'll have a small piece of cheese and the hunger pangs go away. Cheese is good!

(I know this is an older thread...)

I wanted to post that these are GREAT! They taste like peanutbutter fudge! Yummy! Mine came out making 12 at two grams of carbs each. One piece satisfied me and was terrific! It felt like a little holiday!!

P.S. Even my DH liked them and licked the bowl for me.

No, they don't taste cheesy at all. To me they taste just like peanut butter fudge.
