  • chocolate/peanut butter cookies

can someone help me out please?? the cookbook hates me, and when I tried to post the recipe it just disappears. Would someone be so kind as to copy and paste this over in the recipe book for me?

these are simple, took 5 minutes to make No bake, No sugar, Low Carb chocolate/peanut butter cookies.

    1/2 package cream cheese
    1/3 stick butter
    3 TBLS sugarfree peanut butter
    3 TBLS unsweetened cocoa powder
    2 TBLS liquid sweetner
stick the cream cheese and butter in the microwave for 30 seconds to soften.
mix in all the other ingredients, beat together until smooth. line a plate with kitchen paper and drop the cookies by spoon and slightly flatten and put them in the freezer for 20 mins.
    yummy.

also, I am sure these would be yummy with mint extract instead of peanut butter too

ok not too good looking, but taste is fine

How much does a package of cream cheese weigh?

Would like to try the recipe but I must use foreign products that are similar but are not packaged the same as american.

actually I don't use American products either...
but my package says 250 grms...so I guess you would need about 125 gr of cream cheese

:guns Peanutbutter is a cheat! It can be introduced in your Atkins diet after Induction. Cocoa is considered a spice so should be used without abuse. Or your could try using the mint extract which was also suggested to replace the peanutbutter.

:joy Try cocoa flavored Clouds for a chocolate treat if you're after your first two weeks of Induction.

Use almondbutter instead of peanutbutter. Half the carbs!

Well then what is the liquid sweetner you use in the recipe? I have never seen anything in a low-carb liquid. I am only familiar with the packet Splenda for the occasional de-caff tea.

well I use a japanese brand made from sugar alcohol, which I am sure you cannot get in your area...unless you live in Japan...

but liquid splenda is quite common I assume by the amount of times I hear it mentioned on the board, so maybe someone in your area can tell you where to find it

I have seen liquis Splenda at Kroger Grocery (E. KY). Maybe ask your local grocery if that is an item they could order. I have requested a few items (pedisure in different flavors for my daughter who doesn't drink milk) from Kroger in the past, and they always order it at no charge to me.
