Spent about an hour reading labels at the grocery store again. I was looking for low carb pizza sauce. Found one that was terrific made from egg plant (aubergine), red bell peppers and parmesan cheese. Just had to look a little farther than the tomato based products to find this one.

The Carb Solutions spaghetti sauce has 5 net carbs per 1/2 cup. It tastes great on the lo-carb pizza, and the recipe only calls for 1/2 cup for the whole pizza anyway.215/???/150

Interesting... the dough for that recipe is entirely soy flour, which isn't necessarily the best from a carb control or a taste POV, but please, let us know how it turns out. I have been constantly trying to come up with a low carb pizza that tastes like a good slice you can get in the Bronx or Queens, but so far have not come up with much sucess.
