Re: food network , food tv
Good Eats. My most favorite. My oldest son's too. Which is kinda irritating when I'm cooking and he's commenting like a little mini-Alton.
$40 a day is fun but only because Rachel Ray is such a lush. Lol!! My husband and I like to guess when she's going to have a drink.
I liked the Traveling Gourmet but he's not on any longer.
Iron Chef is good but I don't watch the opening anymore because if I hear "If memory serves me right..." from that guy one more time I'll scream. Lol!
Iron Chef America is good because Alton Brown commentates.
Kitchen Accomplished...love that one.
I guess you could say we watch Food Network a lot. O.k...maybe a whole heck of a lot!

Re: food network , food tv
Heh ( from a self admitted lush ) have you ever seen the show the thirsty traveller?
That was a cool show ... I have seen all of them. He goes all over the world and drinks ... but it is interesting because he visits, makes the booze, cooks with the booze, then drinks ... but sometimes the drinking was mixed in.
He went to :
Champagne, Tequila mexico ( or agave or something like that ), connecticut ( for hard cider ), sonoma for wine, russia for vodka, pilsen for beer, plymouth for gin, scotland for whiskey etc ...
I think it was on the fine living channel.
