toss fresh cleaned whole string beans in oil with some fresh garlic mashed up in it...then sprinkle with a mix of kosher salt, New Mexican Red Chile and a little cumin....roast them until the edges are golden brown ...like 400 stir every 5 min you can just roast them until done or roast them until golden..whatever you like...enjoy ..and how do you like to make string beans?
I fry up some bacon til crispy, and sautee pearl onions in the bacon grease. Steam the green beans in a seperate pot til just tender, drain them, and throw them in the pot with the bacon and pearl onions. This is really good with fresh garlic, and a little gorgonzola cheese.
ok where are all the green bean recipes this is a rocking veggie you guys!!!! you can eat them raw you can eat them cooked you can make log cabins out of them and set them on fire...whoops ok don't do that .....
I am liking what I see......I do make curry green beans just saute' onions garlic and ginger in lots of olive oil then add some cumin, curry and extra chile... a splash of leftover coconut milk if you are inclined....
