  • chicken salad portions

    what is the portion for the chicken salad?
    i like to take enough to work for lunch for my 4 days...how much would one portion be? dont tell me til i'm satisfied...i could eat forever. any idea the number of ounces after its all been made? i can weigh it on my food scale.

    hmm, well I hate to tell you this....but the answer is
    1 portion is enough to make you satisfied. :yes
    that is different for every person. One thing you have to learn to do is learn when to stop eating on your own. This will help you for when you are in maintainance and out of ketosis...so please try.
    instead of taking 4 days worth of food try taking 1 day only. take what you feel a portion should be and no more....that way you cannot keep eating

      i only eat 1/4 per day of what i bring..i am not eating more. its just easier to take enough for the whole week cuz i have a long walk from the parking lot to work and with heavy bags i only want to do it once a week. i made chicken salad with 2 c. chicken 4 eggs mayo mustard celery and onion. only used about 2 oz celery and 1 oz onion. does that sound right?

          hi! i was just reading through your postings and I just want to double check that you don't have to count calories during induction, should i be worrying about my portion sizes other than for carb counting purposes? I'm new at this! Thank you!

          Current weight: 159, finally out of the 160's!

            sarbear Im new at this too, but from what I have read around here and in the book so far, that seems to be correct! So long as you arent eating till you feel stuffed!
