    expired cream cheese

    quick question........I just made a nice low carb cheesecake (just put it into the oven).

    I just happened to check the dates on the cream cheese and it expired on August 5th!

    It felt some liquid on the bottom of the cheese when I took it out of the package and it even tasted a little sour. I hope like heck I don't get sick from it? What do you all think? I mean we eat sour cream and blue cheese and we're still here right? I feel like such a goof! Help!

      You'll be okay! Even mold on the stuff shouldn't bother you unless you are sensitive. I say eat it if it tastes good!
