I usually shop at regional groceries (like Hy-Vee and Fareway), but Wal-mart has it from time to time. It is usually the brand Bob's Red Mill at Wal-mart. It will be found in two forms as flax seed, which has to be ground, and flax meal (pre-ground seed for you). I prefer to grind my own seed in a coffee grinder as it lasts longer. There is also two different types of flax, normal and golden. Nutritionally, they are said to be similar, but I prefer the golden. It looks better in mock danishes, salads, pancakes, etc.
