  • protein powder?

I see a lot of low-carb recipes call for protein powder. What is this?

couple of different kinds, like whey protein and soy protein powder. Basically, they "isolate" the protein out of a food. They can be used in baking and shakes...quite versatile and carb free. Available in GNC's and health food stores I know, larger drug stores.

Designer Whey brand protein powder is EXCELLENT. I've tried the chocolate, vanilla, and natural (flavourless - can be mixed into anything w/out changing the taste).

      They are all YUMMY.

This info if for the chocolate flavour, as that is my favourite.
