For people on the go like me, what do you do besides the lettuce roll ups?

On the go...
I am always on the go as well, but I have had to make time (as the weeks go on) to make food ahead of time. I made a pot roast - super easy and then sliced it and froze it in baggies. Then when I take some out at night for the next days lunch - throw it in the micro add a salad and I am good to go. I also eat a lot of Boar's Head meats as many have no nitrates and pretty low sodium. I of course do cheese sticks, pepperoni, olives, tuna salad, shrimp salad and pork rinds.
Also you can fry a lot of ground meat with seasonings (check Taco Meat under the search function) and store it in the fridge. All you have to do is nuke it with some cheese on top and scoop with pork rinds. You can also through it in eggs, or eat it in lettuce wraps.
The trick is finding out what works best with your lifestyle/workstyle. I have always gone out to eat for lunch everyday on "business lunches" but now I have decided to just swing home and eat here. It was not easy at first, but I would not miss it now. If that is not possible you just have to plan what you eat in advance a little better.
Keep up the good work....and don't forget - the search function will give you lots of answers to lots of questions!
