    Prices of Steak?

    Hi everyone!

I was just wondering, since the sudden rise in meat prices, what is the cheapest that you have found Porterhouse Steaks, Ribeye Steaks or Sirloin Steaks? They're all my favorite, but I can't seem to find ANY below $7.99 a pound. THANKS!

About $2 a pound, boneless, dry aged. That's when I slaughter it myself and rent a meat locker to age it. Cheap prime rib. No idea what it costs in stores.

I buy chuck steak I know its not the best cut of meat, but when I find it on sale I stock up. I grill it, fry it pound it and stuff it with spinach and cheese, dice it up for stir fry, I just dont tire of it. In fact I wont buy meat unless its on sale and I never pay more than 3 dollars for any package of meat.
Once in a great while I will splurge on ribeye if its on sale, about 3.99 a pound is the cheapest I have seen that.

I like the flavor in sirloin strip, so I typically buy that, generally can find it for under $3 lb on sale.

Although my grocer had filet at 6.99 a lb the other day as well.
