We haven't done this for awhile. What do you top your plain old hamburger with to make it special.

    I make stuffed burgers.

I'll make two thin patties, stuff them and then pinch the two patties together and grill , fry, or broil them depending on my mood. Everyone in my family likes them stuffed with different things.

I like mine with provolone, mushrooms, black olives.
Dh likes his with cheddar and black olives.
Ds likes his with mozz, tomato sauce, mushrooms.
Dd likes hers with just cheese, please. LOL
Dd likes hers with tomato sauce, olives, and pepperoni.

    Really, the skys the limit

        Hummmm, what about ethic burgers.
        Mexican - Cheddar and jalapenos
        Greek - Olives and Feta
French - Hmmm, can't think of one for French
Italian - Spagetti sauce and mushrooms

I'm a mushrooms and onions sauteed in butter kind of gal...and cheddar cheese...just the basics.
Something I've enjoyed is some Carb Options hickory BBQ sauce mixed with mayo to dip the pieces of burger in...very nice.
Blue cheese dressing is good to dip into as well as Peppercorn Ranch.

A fresh salsa is good too.
          I'm so boring...lol

I found this thread at the bottom of the forum...tons of good ideas in here!
