  • Da Vinci's syurp

Ok... ive got a couple of silly questions.....

I just got Davinci's chocolate syrup, and not exactly sure what to use it in.... for now, i just mixed it with my decaf, and tastes wonderful. But how can i use it in baking? would something like cheesecake work to make a chocolate cheesecake?

Also, how can these syrups be 0 carbs? They're sweetned with splenda, which is great but seeing how splenda's got carb content, why not this syrup?!?! Same story for my pork rinds... ive got Gram's Gourmet Sweet Cinnomon and Butter pork rinds.... theyre really good, but again it reads 0 carbs. They are sweetned with splenda also...

    Thanks

the Davincis uses liquid splenda, and they don't have to add the bulking agents to that, so carb free. In baking it can replace your flavoring and sweetener.

For example go to recipe database and find my Flaxbread. The davinci syrup could replace the splenda and vanilla and cinnamon for a chocolate version.

as far as the pork rinds, they likely use the granular splenda but enough to be less than one carb, and if it is less than one they can label it 0.

I just used the Davinci sf chocolatre syrup in the flax muffin recipe, with 3 pkts of Splenda and 1 Tbsp unsweetned cocoa powder. They are SO good. HTH
