  • Greek Yoghurt and Kefir

10% Fat Greek Yoghurt and thick Kefir are great ways to boost fat and protein content in Atkins

I regularly eat both with defrosted mixed berries.

If it's too sharp or sour use a little sweetener.

I have recently discovered Kefir, and it is amazingly good.

Atkins didn't say 'Calories don't count',
    he said, 'Don't count calories.'

Greek yogurt and kefir can work well once someone knows how they fit their own carb tolerance. The full-fat versions are definitely more satisfying. Berries plus a little sweetener can make those foods feel like a real treat instead of a fallback meal.
