this my friends it this years crop of chile from New Mexico .... Desert was right..and I am telling you it is out of this world ..if I could send you a cyber taste I would....sweet ...hot really fruity chile ..if you love to cook and you ever have the chance the best thing to do in New Mexico is buy the stuff in the baggies from someone who knows!! there is a world of difference I get 10 lbs a year and we use every drop ..Wanta it is kind of like a sweet fruity and spicey really really good paprika ...yes!!! so you were close....
and Lauren it is also used in ALL my curries that is what makes mine unique I think..I use the good shiit!!!!
this is Chimayo I believe... my family from Santa Fe sends it to me every year....
we start with Thanksgiving and go all through the summer bbqs with it....anyone out here who has had this knows...and if you haven't you should go to NM next Oct and get some
they make plenty for everyone!!!
