Thickened Cream

Paul's thickened cream to be exact... What a mistake! I've never used heavy cream before and spent a good 10 minutes staring at the dairy section... Whipping cream, Fresh cream, Pure cream... I never knew there could be so many adjectives for a certain elusive cream... Now, I have a creamy albeit oily mass atop my coffee... *Urgh* And I'm not even sure if thickened cream is heavy cream just masked with a suffix!

whipping cream would be the same as heavy cream or fresh cream... sounds like you got something else!

Are you in the UK by any chance? Thickened or clotted cream is a common dessert topping, but it's pretty solid stuff and I would not suggest its use in coffee.
