  • Low Carb Tortillas

I just bought a new bag of low carb (3 net per one) tortillas, that are also awesome because they're low calorie. They're a great source of fiber (which I don't get a tremendous amount of)--however, are there any hidden carb problems or troubles that I should know about? Example, should I feel guilty about eating two in one day?

    Thanks!

    Re: Low Carb Tortillas

what phase are you in and are those ingredients in that food acceptable for your phase like rung 3 of OWLor rung 9 will have different acceptable foods.
hidden carbs you can do a hidden carb calculation

[total cals minus (9 times the fat grams) minus (4 times the protein grams)] divided by 4 should equal the total grams of carbs on the package if not then you got hidden carbs in there.

    Happy low carbing.

        Re: Low Carb Tortillas

I'm sort of on permanent induction. This is my seventh week with no break in ketosis, I don't know if that makes much of a difference.

Anyway, here's what I got from the counter:

        Calculated Information
        Carbohydrates factor
        3.84063
        Fat factor
        8.82671
        Protein factor
        4.28361
        Actual Carb count
        2.85 g

so--not so bad! That makes me happy.
