    Stick of butter

    this will sound strange to you Americans, but in Australia we don't have a stick of butter. Can you please tell me how much one weighs??

      One stick of butter in the U.S. is the equivalent of 1/4 of a pound by weight or eight tablespoons by volume. Hope that this helps.
