  • Broccoflower???

Has anyone tried Broccoflower? I just saw it today where they sell the fresh broccoli and cauliflower. It was a head like cauliflower, but softer and light green.
I considered buying one, but changed my mind at the last moment since I was dying to try Faux Tatoes.
If anyone has tried it, I'd like to know how it was.
    Thanks!

It won't work for fauxtatoes, but it tastes exactly like what it is, a hybrid of broccoli and cauliflower. It's fairly yummy if you like both of those vegetables.

If you like both brocoli and cauliflower you'll like this veggie! I love it! I agree with Naja though, you probably want to stick with plain cauliflower for the fauxtatoes! :yes

I've used brocoli in the fauxtatoes recipes. It is definately gooooood! Once again, not at all like potatoes but the rest of the ingredients go well with brocoli.

WOW, how long are posts kept on here? Forever? I wrote that almost two years ago. It has been floating around for the year I wasn't! Wild that I just happened upon it again.
I did try it and definitely liked it as well as either of the veggies it is named after.
