  • Nutrition labels on food, deciphering the good from the bad

    Hi,
When it comes to shopping for things, Do i need to check the carb grams per item, or per 100g when adding up my allowance of 20g for the day?. Like sausages, other partly processed foods. I have been avoiding added sugar items
    thanks

Yes you need to check the carbs on everything that goes into your mouth. you even need to count the % of carbs in eggs.

count every carb that goes in your mouth! if you have 100 grams of sausage them count those carbs if you have 1000 grams of sausage count those carbs. they all add up and if it says 0 on the label know it can have up to .4999999 carbs and sill say 0 so always round up .5 to be accurate.

      Happy low carbing.
