  • Can someone give me a recipe for induction safe Tuna Salad?

I've never been a tuna lover .. but being a big family on a tight budget I HAVE to trim down my grocery bill. Tuna is healthy and cheap.. and I assume is also filling. I could probably do some nice, tasty meals/snacks out of it if I had some ideas on what to mix it with. I just can't eat it plain..blah!

I'm thinking this for starters :

tuna.. mixed with a little red onion, mayo, boiled egg, diced dill pickle ??
Gosh..it's been ages since I ate tuna salad. I don't even remember what is in it!

I actually preferr mine very simple. Tuna mayo and chopped celery. If needed I add salt and/or pepper when serving.

You can have the dill pickle, just read the ingredients and make sure there isn't any added sugars. Vlasic dill pickles contain sugar (at least they did when I read a bottle a couple of months ago). So look around for a brand that doesn't.

Basic tuna salad is mayo, tuna (of course), plus whatever you like (onion, celery, pickle, etc.). I had an Amish recipe for tuna salad that threw in some softened cream cheese and refrigerated the mix before using it (so it wouldn't be so runny).

      Good luck.
