Re: Stir fry?
I don't have one, but whenever I make a stirfry, I use the ginger-sherry-sesame oil and soy trick. Using 1 or 2 "coin" sized slices of fresh ginger root, saute it with your vegetables. When you add the meat to the pan, add a tablespoon of dry sherry. And cook until the meat is cooked. The little bit of sherry will add tremendous flavor. DO NOT use "cooking sherry"---that stuff is loaded with salt and sugar and other stuff. A bottle of dry sherry is no more than $20.00 and it's great for cooking. Right before serving your stir fry, add a teaspoon of toasted sesame oil (you'll find it in the Asian food section of your grocery store) and a teaspoon or two of soy sauce. This won't be a gummy, gooey, saucy stir fry, but it will have the flavors.Originally posted by Sigma_1966Does anyone have a low carb recipe for teriyaki sauce ?~Megs~
