If youread and listen to the book and its advice, you will succeed. Nothing worth having ever came easy. "A stupid man's report of what a clever man says is never accurate because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand." -- Bertrand Russell

Here's how they served the veggie and dip snack at my seminar:
Into a "rocks" glass, they put about 2 tablespoons of dip. Then they stuck a spear of asparagus, a couple strips of red and green pepper, and a diagonally cut yellow squash and cucumber (I'll explain how they did this).
What they did for the cucumber was to cut into rounds on a severe diagonal, so the slices were long ovals. Then they sliced the ovals in half, lengthwise.
It looked very elegant. Most importantly it was very convenient to hold onto a glass rather than balancing dip and veggie sticks on a small plate.
They were glass glasses--short, straight sided like the kind they serve bourbon on the rocks or an old-fashioned in. But at home, I would use plastic glasses---especially for my clumsy relatives!
