Fellow cubicle prisoners - what's for lunch?

I'm getting tired of salads, and eating at the company cafeteria is pricey. What's everyone else doing for lunches these days?

I almost always make extra a dinner to bring with me to work the next day for lunch. We don't have a cafeteria and I hate going out to lunch and wasting my money and my little hour waiting in line or driving somewhere. Plus, I like knowing exactly what's in the food I'm eating!

I do the same thing as MoG. I pack away leftovers from last night's dinner. On the very rare occasion I will order something.

If you have access to a microwave, you'll be able to have hot lunches rather than the cold salad type things.

Fortunately, I only live 2 miles from work, so I go home for lunch. I love that!

I always take a small plastic box full of salad foods, meat and cheese. It never really gets boring as I change it around each day.

            I make veggie sandwiches

sliced jicama or red peppers with cream cheese and olives in side ..or smoked salmon with cream cheese ..or tuna, egg or chicken salad inside ...veggies make a great bread IMHO
