I wish I could be there to see their faces when you turn all the tall people away. Well, you could jab them in the butt, I suppose.

did I mention I have 3 men in my life ...all over 6 ft ...all great big strong healthy men? who have never cut the grass for me....

thank you H2OOOOOO!!!! OOOOOOXXXX this is so stupid...I love yard work actually and I knew I would be sore but this time...I did something inside the rotator cuff I am sure of it ...

one handed cooking challenge hmmmmmm let me think about that!!!!

Dot I can not pull the stretch bands right now I can not lift anything with that arm ..this is nuts I am telling you ..I whine about a lot of crap ..but not pain this is really the worst injury I have had in a long time! I am typing with one hand because it hurts to even move my fingers....this SUCKS massively

Mike had to get shoulder surgery last year, long recovery. You should really get it checked out before it really falls apart.

thanks dear girl ..I will go see someone if it continues right now it is a fresh injury they are going to tell me what I already know ...rest, ibuprofen and ice....if it goes on for more than a week or so I will go in....
but right now I am not very sure what they can do that I can not do for myself ..except give me narcs and I have some left over if I need them

I had the same thing happen to me last year and it was painful. Didn't know what was going on - couldn't lift my arm, couldn't shift my car and I was in tears so I finally went to see a doctor at the emergency room. They said I probably slightly tore my rotator cuff and he had me wear a sling for a couple of days and take ibuprofen - he also gave me some pain meds in case I needed them. I had to say - it was better in a couple of days. Good luck and I trully know how much pain you are in!

ouch olympic lawn mowing training injury. man that has got to hurt and of course they are going to ask how you did it pushing the mower.

Maybe you can do a dinner party in the kitchen where everybody helps cook. Do you have enough cutting boards and knives to share?

well my dear it is because it costs a huge amt of money to be insured ...sad but true ...lots of nurses are not covered

I have a safety net if I need it I can use the army hospital my husband is retired but that is so time consuming and unless it is an emergency what is the point?

you guys are great..

this hurts like **** and kind of freaks me out because I have never done anything like this before...there are all these "what if I did serious damage" ...probably not....I am old and hurt myself is all!!!....besides.. what can they do if I go in? tell me to rest ice and ibuprofen (since I work in urgent care I know this is the patent pending answer) then charge me $100 before Xrays that will tell me nothing because it is obviously soft tissue damage..

yes my doctors would offer advice but it seems to be the way it works people constantly asking for a hallway assesment and I feel bad taking the time from them when they are so busy....

that is why I solicited sympathy from all of you dear friends...worse then anything if this affects my ablity to cook/garden or anything I love... I am going to be so upset!!!!!!

I am only one day into this and am probably going to be fine tomorrow and then embarassed because I made such a HUGE deal out of this....

my ibuprofen is wearing off now
