You know Loana, low carb food is delicious! My BF loves all the things I make...he eats better on Atkins than he did before! Just don't tell them its "Atkins" and they'll never know!

You know that salad would be good with spinach instead of romaine and you'd get alot more vitamins too!

              never thought about that!!!
Yeah hubby does not want to do atkins as he says he loves his carbs.. I love y hubby but I am not blind.. he needs to do it as he is a bit on the heavy side and his family has a history of diabetes... I told him.. he can eat his normal stuff at work and the kids will continue eating what I do for them during the day.. but at night I will not be making different meals for us.. so I will be assured that they all get a healthy meal thorughout the day and he had no problem.. perhaps is a start? I do not have time to cook for everyone diff meals.. so hopefully this will get him start eating healthier too!

                loana,

My husband has lost 20 lbs since I've been doing Atkins LOL

He eats what he wants when he's not home, but at home its low carb and fresh.

Very true. I have non-low carb friends and family who come over for dinner and they love the low carb food I cook.

In fact, my picky godchildren (who were practically weaned on processed fake foods) love eating at my house.

I agree with MOG. My gf isnt doing Atkins, yet she loves the food that we eat.

Its a fantastic way of life.

Yeppers, my boyfriend's major food groups are "sugar," "deep fried," and "sandwiched between two slices of wonderbread" ... and yet there he was last night, lovin' the shrimp pad thai with shirataki noodles! Sometimes I make different side dishes for him, but all in all he's a happy camper. Especially on chicken wing night!

My 89 year old Mum (who is known as a 'picky eater' in our family) always eats a hearty meal when I cook meals at her house! She does sometimes ask what something is made of, but only out of interest!!
I think she enjoys telling her cronies what weird and delicious meals I eat and lose weight by eating!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
