      Saturday, April 29 is Maryland Day. There will be a huge celebration with lots of activities & food at U. of Md. - I'm not likey to go, though, and tempt fate with the kind of stuff they usually have wafting thickly through the air at such events. The low tide at Cape St. Clair will be about 2:45 in the afternoon, so I can go clamming again. Yeaaa!!

      but regained ~20# in '07 in less than 3 weeks! And again early '08 ...Was in HEAVEN -got to 150, for awhile, then got too busy, and gave in too much... and... OK holding pattern "keep it together..."

                Funny; just read this now & heidi3, that is almost exactly what i just finished eating, except I used clams, and instead of chestnuts, I used maple seeds (takes forever to get them both shucked) and leeks. The peppered bacon I used had just enough fat for the dish. mmmm!
