My other complaint.... (This guy is an Ex now...LONG GONE).
I love to cook so I was making food on a regular basis for my then BF. He would come over friday and not leave tillsunday so id make food all weekend for us. I told him in the beginning that she who cooks is NOT she who does dishes. That was all well and good and he would HELP do dishes.well I got fed up one weekend and toldhim to wash dishes or he wasnt eating. And the dishes sat. and sat. well.... When I decided I was hungry, I made enough food for myself and sat down on the couch next to him. He had the cajones to look at me and ask where his was. Needless to say I informed him where McDonalds was and that unless he washed dishes he wouldnt eat in the morning either.

She who cooks is NOT she who does dishes and by golly, Im the cook!.

Tired you are good I used to do the same thing with my kids ..when they were brats about the kitchen duties and YES the cook should not have to clean!!!!

I would just shove the dirty stuff aside and make myself something ...go out sit at the table .. and eat it in front of them .....if they complained I would say .."sorry guys not enough dishes to make food for you too" and just keep eating ..of course whatever I made was always something I was sure would make them drool over

OH and speaking of son's keeping dirty dishes in their room ..my youngest only did that until he had a mouse run over him while he was sleeping one time ....he had an attic bedroom ..it was perpetually trashed ...after the mouse he found cleaning to be much better than living with vermin ...

I really enjoy cooking. I'm not the greates, definitely not the worst. When i offer to make something for a party, etc. if I don't receive any special requests i will make it to my taste. I can't tell you how many times I've been told it was too spice/mild/bland/salty/hot/cold. I tell them not to eat it. I make a dip that i've posted here that is rather spicy. It's a buffalo chicken dip for goodness sake. "This would be great if it wasn't spicy." It's supposed to be spicy. At home I don't mind cooking and cleaning because I do it better than bf, but I do mind when I look in the sink and there are like 6 glasses. There are only two humans and a dog here. Use the same glass!!!!! I could keep going, lol.

My bf only does like 75% of the dishes. Like they'll be a bunch of dirty dishes (after I cooked), he finishes off like 75% of them and craps out. Just finish them for Christ sakes!
Also, when he washes them he leaves them wet on the counter next to the sink. There's a dish rack. He seems to have some fear of stacking the dishes on the dish rack. It really bugs me.

For once I have nothing to complain about. lol Okay, yes, the kids leave their dishes lying around but they are getting better at that. And we pay ds to wash the dishes every night. I'm just surprised at some of your comments. Are people really that rude?? My eyes are just bugging out!!! It's free frickin' food!!! And you didn't have to cook it!! Stop complaining!!! My gosh. I bet all these complainers don't offer to make all the food next time so it's done right, do they? lol

So my bitchin today is on all of your behalfs (is that a word?)

It doesn't happen all the time, lol. I'd never cook for anyone else. Bf loves my cooking btw. When it does happen I always laugh at the stupidity.

Lilbuddy- my bf's the opposite. He piles the dishes like the leaning tower of Pisa.

OK, I have another one. No matter how many times I tell him, my husband LOVES to put my cast iron skillet in the sink and fill it with water. OMG, that drives me nuts!

I have something else to biitch about ...hate my sink and I want a new one

it is horrible who ever put it somehow totally screwed up the installation

if you put a marble on the the side of the sink anywhere on the counter it will roll by its self behind the sink and over to the right side . ..the counters look level but they are way off ....not only that but this is a one gaint side and one tiny garbage disposal side so when I am washing what I can not cram into the dishwasher the do not fit into the second sink so I have to wash and rinse all at once and it splashes all over..and because nothing is level the water that splashes goes behind the sink and runs right down the side of the cabinet and frig...

I want a new sink
